The Essential Directory | Spring 2010
The Essential Directory is a new project that will be imaginatively illustrated by local artist Dana Jane which will bring her unique art style and humour to our directory.
Below is a quick overview to the Essential Directory, and by no means the final product, if you are interested then why not contact us by Email or phone 01243 790991 we would love to tell you more about our new baby and how it can promote you.
Why our directory and not the others?
- Distributed door-to-door:- Hand delivered to around 15,000 homes in chichester and surrounding areas (not just the selected few) by a team of trustworthy leaflet distributors.
- City center display:- Tourist information, public houses, restaurants, business etc
- Themed:- The Essential Directory will be themed i.e The Arts, The Pubs, The Business etc, which will be illustrated to portray this area it will not be a mismatch of everything and anything that's what the yellow pages is for!
- FREE full listing in our on-line directory, which will be in keeping with our unique look. Displaying the what's what of Chichester. Our directory will be designed and developed in-house no THIRD PARTY INVOLVED which means we control what it can do and how it looks even change the listing layout to suit your needs and not the software's!!!
- We're local too: - We know our city inside and out, which means we care about what we do and what you expect from us.
- Adverts designed for the door step (yes, there is a difference), from years of experience, we know what helps sell and what doesn't after all we are designers! and best of all you keep the artwork for you to use as you see fit in.
How is The Essential Directory delivered?
All our distributors adhere to our delivery ethics
when carrying out Front Door Distribution, as part of
this standard they follow these basic rules:
- Gates are always closed after delivery or left in the manner that they are found.
- Copies are never left sticking out of the letter box and pushed right through.
- Copies are never left outside in the open.
- We will do our best to deliver all copies in the manner in which they were supplied however in some cases the distributor may feel the need to fold.
- We do not promise leaflet delivery to every household within the area chosen but distributors will do their uppermost to deliver to every address highlighted within an area, postcode or sector.
- Our distributors use a common sense approach and will not put themselves in harms way for example: no pavements along a busy road, high gates and/or fences and the letterbox cannot be seen, sign's stating "Beware of Dog" usually on the gate as the dog may be loose in the garden.
- We try to respect a homeowners wishes and if there is a sign saying "No leaflets, Flyers, Canvassers" etc... we do not deliver however these signs are not always clearly visible i.e. on the letterbox and errors are sometimes made.
- Staff try to record a list of all non-delivered homes on their distribution route and the reason why.
- We have zero litter tolerance and ensure that no area will be left to the detriment of our distributors.
- We do not use agency workers to distribute and employ adult, trustworthy members of staff.
